The systems we have in place ensure the workers we supply are trained to the highest and most recent standards, ensuring they are effective in placement.

We operate a 120° recruitment structure, meaning we work together as a team to deliver the right staff for every requirement. The team is made up of Consultants, Bookers and Administrators, giving every member of staff on each level the ability to deal effectively with employer queries, thus ensuring continuity of service. Your service is not affected by any internal factors such as; holiday or absence, and we will always be available to deal with shift requests or queries efficiently.

Our dedicated Out of hours and On-Call team ensures this continuity outside office hours and works during evenings, early mornings and weekends to ensure your staffing needs are effectively supported.

As a member of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) we are committed to constantly evaluating our practices and their suitability to a rapidly changing environment.

We employ flexible systems enabling us to tailor a service that matches your specific needs in a time-efficient and cost-effective manner.

The stability of our in-house 120°team structure ensures that you have continuity of contact with the people that best understand the service and associated requirements.

        Agency worker regulations

The Agency Workers Regulations (AWR) came into effect on October 1st, 2011.

Compliance with the Agency Workers Regulations is the joint responsibility of the agency (e.g. Paterson Recruitment) and the Hirer (the establishment using the Agency Worker).

The Paterson Group has invested heavily in software designed to give us the ability to inform employers when workers reach the 12-week qualifying period. In order to do this, it is important that we receive the required information as soon as possible, if we haven’t already.

You can download our AWR Request for Information Form below, which should be completed for each grade and job role you employ and returned to your local branch at your earliest convenience.

Please also see below a link to some further information which explains AWR and associated requirements, which we hope will be of use.

If you have any queries regarding compliance with AWR, we strongly advise you to seek guidance from your HR or Workforce Planning Department or an employment lawyer.
