Paterson Health and Social Care are delighted to have been working with G4S for the last 12 months and to be continuing this partnership into 2023. Supporting them with their recruitment of permanent staff for full time and Family Friendly part time positions in their Secure Training Centres and Custodial Units.
Our agency has worked for many years and built extensive experience within the Health and Social Care sectors. We have many clients, including large nationwide Charities, that support people in various settings with a multitude of special needs. These can include mental health, learning disabilities, complex or challenging needs or behaviours. It is because of this experience, we have found the transition between Social Care staffing and recruiting for Young Offender, Prison Custodial roles, so effective. This has in turn allowed our consultants to be empathetic and use their diverse and transferable experience to identify and recruit the right candidates for these roles.
A G4S Secure Training Centre provides a safe and secure environment where young people who have offended, are resident and given the support, care, and education to assist them on their road to successful rehabilitation.G4S promotes a Family Friendly approach to its staffing model. Secure Care Officers are Key Workers and aim to provide all residents with a platform to change their lives.
It is the role of key staff to build positive and supportive relationships with the children. All key staff have a thorough understanding of Diversity, Inclusion, and the Safeguarding processes and are given in-depth training with emphasis on the need to treat residents with dignity and respect.
