The aim of our Homecare division is to provide a caring, sensitive service that supports service-users in their daily activities

    Care in your own home

Choosing a care option that's right for you is one of the most important decisions you can make. Your home is filled with memories, familiar sounds, a place of comfort and security and so it's not surprising that few of us are willing to leave even as our care needs increase.

Our dedicated homecare division is experienced in providing a sensitive and caring service when organising care at home for people with varying needs. We aim to make the process as simple as possible and provide peace-of-mind that you’re making the right choice for you or a loved-one.

Care in your own home means that you do not need to move out of your home, instead you can receive personalised care from experienced nurses or carers in your own home. Whether you are living with a complex medical condition or need a bit of extra support with personal care, assistance with medication, accompanying to appointments, mobility and safety and light housework, Paterson Health and Social Care can help.

Initially, one of our qualified and supportive nurses carries out a detailed care needs assessment to establish the level of care required. This may be in the client's own home, hospital, care home or hospice, prior to discharge. Full details are taken during this initial visit regarding all health and social care needs. Following discussions with the client, families and anyone currently involved in providing care for the client, a personalised care plan is prepared. The care plan is designed to ensure that all needs are met in a way that suits the lifestyle of the service-user and their family.

Our care team will recruit a suitable team for your package from our experienced bank of care staff.  This allows for continuity of staff and helps people feel settled and allows good relationships to form.
