Our fundraising cause for 2024: Alzheimer’s Research UK
Paterson Health & Social Care spent 2023 raising money and awareness for the wonderful work of Ronald McDonald House Charities UK. We hosted 7 events for our team and workers throughout the year including; 3 dress-down days, 1 festive day with a raffle and auction, 2 bake sales, and 1 sponsored walk. In total our team raised £1,616, which went straight to RMHC UK helping them to provide spaces for families to remain together when a child is battling illness. We’re really proud of our team and their efforts last year!
This year, PHC has selected a new charity to raise more money and awareness for. It’s a charity that has presence across not only our three branches, but the whole of the UK. It’s close to the hearts of some of our team members, and it’s a fantastic charity focussing on an elusive cure and ensuring better care throughout research. Alzheimer’s Research UK is an extremely worthy cause, and we’re excited to dedicate this year’s efforts to raising money for them, as well as increasing knowledge of what can be a complex condition to deal with. We’re hoping to beat our total from last year, with a fundraising goal of £2,000 to achieve.
Our first event on 26th January is a Snowy Dress-Down day and we’re excited to plan lots of exciting things throughout the year.
