Paterson Health & Social Care offers support to Nurses and Midwives going through the process of gaining NMC Revalidation
Revalidation is the process that all Nurses and Midwives in the UK, and Nursing Associates in England, need to follow to maintain their registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Council.

How can we help?
Practice Hours & CPD
We endeavour to offer our workers enough shifts to achieve your 450 practice hours quota. We also provide templates enabling you to log your practice & Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours. To assist with your CPD requirements, we offer a variety of theory, practical and online e-learning training courses through Paterson Training:
We obtain progress reports from our clients regarding your practice on a six-monthly basis. We will be able to provide you with practice-related feedback from these reports that you can use for Revalidation.
Reflection & Discussion
Our valued workers are able to utilise our Lead Nurse and Trainer to discuss written reflective accounts on a yearly basis.
Third Party Confirmation
If we’re your main provider of work, we are also able to act as your ‘confirmer’. At your face-to-face appraisals we will work with you to ensure you are on target to complete the Revalidation requirements.
Don’t forget your Health and Character Declaration and confirmation of Professional IndemnityInsurance!
Our dedicated team of Consultants, Bookers and Administrators will contact you before your Revalidation is due, but you can get in touch with our Lead Nurse and Trainer, Matthew Mitchell-Farmer, any time if you have any queries relating to NMC Revalidation:
