Our Training and Development centre is based in Bicester Oxfordshire and offers an excellent learning environment which gives you the opportunity to learn and meet with other PHC personnel from across three counties.
PHC trainers really understand the environments you work in and are on hand to advise and assist at any time.
All PHC workers are required to up date their skills in the mandatory subjects outlined below to maintain their registered with PHC. This can be achieved by either booking onto a PHC update course or providing PHC with evidence that you have updated elsewhere.
Mandatory Courses
- Safer handling annual
- Basic Life Support/Child Life Support annual
- First Aid 3 yearly
- Food Hygiene 3 yearly

- AED (nurses only)
- IV Cannulation (nurses only)
- POVA (protection of vulnerable adults)
