PHC are currently recruiting on behalf of our Client for Band 5 Nurses for Acute Clinical areas within NHS Hospitals in Oxford.
Positions available Surgery, Medicine, Oncology, Palliative Care, Private Patients, Theatres and ITU.
Full time/Part time/Zero Hours available
The main responsibilities of the post are:
• To be responsible for the delivery and co-ordination of care for a named group of patients working within the Hospital Philosophy.
• To make key contributions to the work of the interdisciplinary team.
• To work with key people to identify and achieve the ward/hospital goals and objectives.
• To work with and promote recognised policies, protocols and guidelines.
Additional Management responsibilities include:
• Attending relevant meetings in relation to goal setting, or discharge planning as required.
• Reporting accidents, incidents and near misses, implementing corrective action when necessary
• Ensuring the safety and security of patients, staff and Hospital property at all times, using systems in place
• To be aware of own responsibilities of others responsibilities in relation to Trust Policy and Procedures, especially with regard to Health & Safety and Infection Control.
